Road Access for Pinang Channel Normalization Provided

South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Water Management is about to normalize Pinang connecting channel to Jati River, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak. At this moment, road access for heavy equipments heading to the river is being provided.

“The road access is being provided to ease the heavy equipments entering the site,” said Holi Susanto, head of agency, Tuesday (9/6).

According to him, the normalization can be started tomorrow right after completing the road access. His side has prepared two excavators.

Grogol River will Be Widened Up to 2 Meters

Pondok Labu Urban Village Head, Siti Fauziah, said five houses at Jalan Melati III RT 09/02, Sunday (9/4) have been demolished for road access.

“The demolished building will get Rp 2 million compensation during the leasing period. While for the demolished wall or bathroom will get Rp 1 million. South Jakarta Administration will rebuild the building later,” she closed.
